Q: Where is Bird Haus Farms located?
A: We’re tucked away in the scenic Texas Hill Country, just outside of Spring Branch, TX—an easy drive from San Antonio, New Braunfels, Boerne, Canyon Lake, and Blanco.

Q: What is Bird Haus Farms?
A: Bird Haus Farms is a family-owned vacation rental and working farm, featuring four unique homes, a seasonal pumpkin patch, wide-open views, and a man-made swimming hole. We’re also an active farm, so don’t be surprised to spot animals or hear the occasional construction project in progress.


🛏️ Stays & Property Features

Q: How many homes are on the property?
A: We currently have four homes: The Roost, The Perch, The Hummingbird Haus, and The Nest.

Q: Do all homes have hot tubs?
A: Yes—every house has a hot tub except The Nest.

Q: Is the swimming hole private?
A: The man-made, filtered swimming hole is shared between all four homes and is maintained for swimming from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Q: Which house has a private pool?
A: The Roost Haus features a private container pool, available only to guests staying there.

Q: Do all homes have washer/dryer access?
A: The Roost and Hummingbird Haus have washer and dryer access. The Nest and The Perch do not.


🐾 Pets & Policies

Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Yes! Bird Haus Farms is dog-friendly. We charge a flat $100 pet fee and typically allow up to 2 dogs, though we’re happy to make exceptions if you contact us in advance. Please make sure pups are well-behaved and picked up after.

Q: Are there animals on the farm?
A: You bet! We have cows, chickens, and a whole lot of country charm. You may also notice ongoing projects and improvements as we continue to grow.


📅 Booking & Check-In

Q: What are your check-in and check-out times?
A: Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.

Q: Can I request early check-in or late check-out?
A: Yes—fees vary depending on season and availability. Just contact us ahead of time to see what’s possible.

Q: Is there a minimum night stay?
A: Usually a 2-night minimum on weekends and holidays. Occasional 1-night stays may be available—especially on weekdays—just ask!


🎃 Seasonal Events

Q: Do you host a pumpkin patch?
A: We do! Every fall, our Field of Dreams becomes home to our Annual Pumpkin Patch, complete with pumpkins, animals, photo ops, and family fun. If you’re staying with us in the fall, you’re welcome to attend! Dates and details are announced on our website and Instagram.

Q: What amenities are included with my stay?
A: Each home features:

  • A fully equipped kitchen

  • WiFi

  • Outdoor seating, fire pit, and charcoal grill

  • Hot tubs at all homes except The Nest

  • Use of the seasonal swimming hole (shared)

  • Stunning Hill Country views and wide-open skies

Note: Only the Roost and Hummingbird Haus include washer/dryer access.

Q: Will there be construction during our stay?
A: Maybe! As a working farm, we’re always improving. We do our best to schedule any major projects around guests and will notify you if anything could impact your stay.

Q: Can friends or family come swim if they’re not staying overnight?
A: Yes! Day passes are available by reserving our RV space, which includes restroom access and parking. It’s a great option for locals or friends of guests who want to enjoy the swimming hole for the day. Contact us directly for availability and booking details
